Target’s Stephen Bunting confirmed his place in the knockout rounds of the Grand Slam Of Darts, after winning all three of his group stages games in Wolverhampton.
“The Bullet” finished top of Group F, following a deciding leg victory over Scott Mitchell, and will take on world number two Peter Wright in the last 16 on Wednesday night.

Wright had earlier edged past Target’s Alan Norris in a thriller, surviving a match dart at double-top from “Chuck” and denying the former Lakeside finalist a spot in the next stage of the tournament.

2015 Runner-up Dave Chisnall will join Bunting on Wednesday, as his fellow Target and St Helens thrower did him a favour by eliminating Mitchell, after “Chizzy” had succumbed to a 5-4 loss to Jeffrey de Zwaan.
It means that Chisnall must face Group E winner Glen Durrant, the reigning Lakeside Champion, for a place in the quarter-finals.

Tuesday sees the group stage ties completed, with Phil Taylor and Raymond van Barneveld both looking to continue their 100% records, Rob Cross in a straight shootout for the last 16 with Ross Montgomery, and Joe Murnan playing for pride against defending champion Michael van Gerwen.
The action is being shown live in the UK on Sky Sports, and worldwide via the PDC’s broadcast partners.
