Premier League Podcast - VOLTAGE
Target’s Premier League pair Rob Cross and Raymond van Barneveld both finished off the league stage of the competition with draws in Aberdeen.
Former winner “Barney” hit three ton-plus checkouts and averaged more than 97 in his 6-6 result with playoff-bound Michael Smith, to ensure he finished sixth in the table following the 200th Premier League match of his career.
Meanwhile, World Champion Rob Cross hit five 180s in his tie with former European Champion Simon Whitlock, to end his debut league campaign in fourth position.
That means that Cross will return at the O2 Arena in London next week to take on Michael van Gerwen in the semi-finals, with either Michael Smith or Gary Anderson awaiting the victor in the final.
Prior to that though, “Voltage” will compete in the Netherlands this weekend on the European Tour, alongside fellow Target professionals Dave Chisnall, Adrian Lewis, Stephen Bunting and Ricky Evans.
Coverage of the Dutch Darts Masters from Zwolle can be watched live on PDC TV and via bookmakers’ websites worldwide.
